What kinds of foundations can artificial turf be installed on?

Artificial turf is used in a wide variety of applications, from soil to wood flooring and concrete. Soil

If the artificial turf is placed on an unstable surface, it will move over time and the surface will become uneven. The appearance and stability of artificial turfgrass throughout its life cycle depends on the underlying layer that is properly prepared. Installing a fake lawn is a big investment, so it's important to do this correctly.

For soils, it is recommended to use a suitable, stable sub-base – be sure to remove 60-80 mm of soil before preparing the foundation and spreading new artificial turf, as this will result in a perfect installation. Another option is to use 30mm to 40mm of gravel dust, and the required excavation is about 50mm.

Concrete

Make sure the concrete surface is smooth, dry and clean. Check the level of the surface to see if there is any unevenness, if any, to flatten the raised parts, as these protrusions can be seen through artificial grass. If the drainage is not smooth, please make some holes in the concrete. For the sake of comfort, we can install the shock pad cushion under the grass.

Wooden deck

Make sure the floor is stable, clean, dry and reprocessed.

When installing artificial grass on the deck, it is recommended to install the foam pad. This will prevent the artificial grass from being compressed into the gap between the panels. Tighten or stick the foam pad to the perimeter floor, install the artificial grass as described in the guide, and then tighten or stick the grass to the floor with a foam pad. Don't screw it too tight, otherwise it will catch the artificial grass.

Rooftop (Rooftop)

Make sure the roof is stable, clean and dry. The perfect foundation is the perfect solution for roof installation as it provides a solid, lightweight and well-drained surface.
